Nuevas Estrategias para la Ciudad

Primer Concurso de Arquitectura convocado por FUTURE.

FUTURE lanza un concurso internacional de ideas para identificar los mejores proyectos conceptuales con el desafío de desarrollar visionarias propuestas urbanas para estimular las ciudades contemporáneas, en este caso cuatro lugares diferentes: Hangzhou, Nanjing, Madrid y Barcelona.

* Los arquitectos participantes en el concurso deberán ser estudiantes de arquitectura o arquitectos menores de 31 años de edad en la fecha límite para la presentación de propuestas (30 de junio de 2011).
* Los equipos de arquitectura que participen en el concurso deberán tener al menos un estudiante de arquitectura o un arquitecto menor de 31 en la fecha límite para la presentación de propuestas, y será el representante del equipo.

* Limite de inscripción 30 Junio, 2011
* Limite de presentación 31 Julio, 2011

The Louisiana’s big summer exhibition focuses on new departures in architecture that meet the need for sustainable development.

A sustainable future calls for new inventions, materials, processes and complex architectural methods in the built-up environment. For sustainable architecture is a far more complex matter than rainwater collection and solar cells. That is why the architecture of tomorrow is inextricably bound up with the exploration of new scientific and technological frontiers.

The new requirements for the composition of the materials are reflected in the final architectural product, and this expands and transforms the framework of what we understand by a house. Perhaps the materials of the house change with the seasons, or courtyard gardens are built up with green recycled glass from wine bottles.
